My PRR Offset Hopper 3 Pack Arrived yesterday. I didn't realize these were all DieCast when I ordered them. They are nice and heavy, great details on the ends. Color is a little more brown under bright light but otherwise very nice set. If anyone picks these up be super careful when removing from box or picking them up. Pick them up by the upper sides. I made the mistake of picking one up from bottom and my hand popped off the wire detail eyelets one the one side. Luckily they are all metal and I just put a drop of glue and popped then back in their hole. Still a pain as they are very small. The second picture shows the eyelets I'm talking about. I only wish they had made these in a six pack with all different car numbers. But still very very nice.

I got fooled once buying an Atlas O twin hopper.
Never could understand the logic behind producing heavy die-cast boat anchor cars?
RDG is the only one I have and it just sits on a siding as a decoration most of the time.
Are these Atlas cars? Holy cow...diecast!!! Why??
Nice looking cars...thanks for the pictures...

Lionel 2012 Vol1 - I didn't read the description close enough when I ordered them. I thought they would be plastic, but nope, they are all diecast.

Nice models
Now, if only PRR had offset-side hoppers....
Those are nice looking cars. And the Pennsy did have them....they just didn't bother documenting it

... and they only ran them on foggy nights so there are no photographs of them.
