PS-2 Help With No Start / Sound

choochoopaulOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

Looking for help or replacement of the board set from a MTH DC-3 Inspection car. Have changed board set from a working Doodlebug, and it works in the DC-3. That takes all the checking of the simple stuff off the table. Changed the voltage regulator, no difference.

Please advise next step.

Did you try a conventional reset by 1 Whistle and 5 bells? If the board is dead, it will need to be replaced with a PS-2 3V system with 5V connectors.
