Relatively new PS 3 equipped Railking GP9. Was running just fine. Track circuit breaker tripped. I reset it and did a new startup. Since then, I have everything except motion.  Smoke, lights, sounds, couplers - everything works except it won't move in forward or reverse.  I turned the sound off and listened but I don't hear anything straining or trying to do anything.  I have already done both feature and factory resets.

Thoughts?

A conventional (transformer) engine reset consists of 1 Whistle/Horn button press, followed by 5 Bell Button presses. Use 1/2 second presses with 1/2 second pauses in-between.

This and a whole lot more is all in The DCS Companion 3rd Edition", available for purchase  from many fine OGR advertisers and forum sponsors, or as an eBook or a printed book.

At one time a factory command reset would  unlock a  conventional dir lock with ps-2 engines. (done it a few times).  However  apparently that's not the case now  with proto3 so it looks like the conventional reset is the only way to go....  Do you have a transformer  or anything with a horn /bell button? if not   a  var channel in var mode  with the dcs   signal turned OFF will let the dcs 's   remote's  bell and horn button do the job.  1W 5B
