If you have a PS1 engine and install a BCR then is it pretty much good to go no worry about the electronic failing?

It should be. Make sure you let the engine sit on the track at 10 to 11 volts for a minute and you should be good to go. Th BCR will stop any battery issues but with electronics being electronics that side could give you trouble down the road. I have been using BCR's and I have had no problems since....Paul
Just don't forget it is a BCR. If you start it up and immediately go to a direction change or power back down you can see the same effect as a weak battery if your unit is suceptible.
