Has anyone did a ps2 conversion on one of the old subways from mth is it the same as doing it on a diesel and comments or tips would be helpful thank you
I have an MTH R42, that had the original Protosounds system. I sent it out to an authorized MTH service dealer, who upgraded it to DCS Protosounds 2. Interestingly, the sound set that was programmed in to the subway, was that of the R26 set, which is not entirely accurate for the R42. If there was a way, I would un-program the R26 sound , and just run the train quietly.

Just turn the sound off There isn't anything close to the R42 sounds for Railking You might try loading the R40 sound file but there may be a problem since that's a Premier set
