PS2 shell on PS3 Locomotive. Will it work???

Factory ps3 uses all led lights so you would need to swap the bulbs for leds I believe.

Take all the lighting from the PS3 shell and swap it into what you want to use.

The rear light should be on a chassis mounted post, but all other lighting will need to be swapped into the new shell.

Mmmmmmmm.....that's what I was afraid of!  I assume becuase the volyages are different??

It isn't too difficult to swap everything when the shells are the same model, just take before pictures for reference and don't rush.

Well, PS3 uses LED and the PS2 uses incandescent bulbs.

Not exactly. The PS3 board lighting circuit is set up for LEDs, which draw less current/amps than incandescent light bulbs. Putting PS2 (6V) bulbs on the PS3 LED lighting circuit will damage the lighting circuit on the PS3 board, since it wasn't set up for bulbs.

I am going on the assumption you are planning on swapping all the wiring from one shell into the other. As in taking the PS3 harnesses out and then installing them into the PS2 shell. Correct? Not just swapping the cabs.
