Gentlemen, I just got a new PS3 engine for Christmas. It is a diesel with a powered B unit that has PS3. When running the B with the A, do I need to do anything other than just plug it into the A unit? The DCS found the A unit and everything is working fine. I plugged the B into the A and both were running, however I want to make sure I am not missing something.
A problem I have when I run the A and B unit together is the engine is surging. It goes at one speed and then starts picking up speed, and then slows back down, then speeds up again. It does this as a 3 second cycle and just continues. I feel that the A and B unit are not working at the same speed and that this is causing this problem. The A unit runs fine by itself.
Any help is appreciated. I have been running DCS for a while, I am just new to 2 powered units. Thanks.
