how do you guys paint and glaze the VESTIBULE interiors of these cars? There doesn’t seem to enough space for it. Should I remove the inner partition paint and resolder?

Also, what high Pullman sleeper seats do you use? I was gonna get delta's but 28 for this 14 section go for $70! No way, man. Are SCD (the ones you have to cut) scale?
I bit the bullet on the Delta seats for my PSC coach. Delta produces a wide variety of castings that aren't available elsewhere, so I like to support them whenever possible. I am eager to hear responses regarding painting and glazing as I am in the same stage with a PSC coach.

Gregg, I’m all for support but there’s gotta be a better way of producing them. Throw 20 more bucks and you got yourself a state of the art brass water column!
It appears their is just enough room to get your airbrush tip into the vestibule windows and lightly spray the inners to at least get the parts painted that one would see through the windows. the glazing will probably have to be done the way I have to do on my cab forward windows. Glue pre-applied around the windows inside, I'm going to use contact cement, and then the window panes inserted through the holes on a stick with modeling clay to hold the plastic and pulled to you. contact on the edges of the plastic. My other means is unsoldering the cab roof to gain access. Bummer.
Ron
If you unsolder, consider re- forming the roof end contour. Early PSC used the Trager drawings - I have yet to see a photo with that contour on the real thing. Later PSC production fixed it.
These things were an advance in O Scale when they came out. I had two - the roof drove me nuts, so I sold them. I have one observation with the better roof ends - a really nice model, but eclipsed in price and appearance by later Sunset products.
Opinion.
The PSC Harrimans are still the most accurate Harriman heavyweights in O Scale. I keep mine hidden, so folks can avoid drooling and instead admire the stuff I make.
Thanks, Ron. I may use double side tape.
Bob, you’re right. I was aware about the roof and it doesn’t bother me that much. I too love 3rd Rail brass Pullman heavies. Got a diner and a 12-1. They can certainly be on the same train and look fantastic. Wish Scott would make more! We need chair cars!
Very carefully man!
It looks like you could torch off the end caps. You'll probably scorch some inside paint on the reattachment. I still think just spraying through the door windows to be the best option. Try a primer coat first.
