PW 2-6-4 Axle bushings | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have 2018 2-6-4 that has a lot of wear in the driver wheel bushings. Can these bushing be easily replaced? And, who might sell the bushings. I looked up the part numbers in the lionel parts manual, then checked with Olsen's. No luck. I will be checking 'The Train Tender' later.

Give Chuck Sartor a call at: 1-303-638-8357. He services Lionel and should have the Bushings you need and can install them I'm sure. Take care.

Bushings can be changed in frame locomotives. I went through a 675 about a month ago. I had to file the bushings slightly on each side then punched them out with the press. The center collector needs to come out. Trainz had the bushings I needed. Jeff will probably have a frame with field, bearings and center collector for less than $16.00. Then you just have to install your gears, axles and wheels. If you don't have access to a press with wheel cups I will do it for you.

STEW1957, I will check into that or contact you. I have a press from hobby horse.

I will also check with the Just Trains to see if their Lionel repairman has what is needed.
