I threw together a long loop on the parlor floor tonight to run some trains.

 I noticed some wonky ties and nail-hole punchings. Pictures below.

This stuff is fairly early wide-tie Standard Gauge, presumably Lionel.  Most sections are unmarked. Three ties on the straights, four ties on the curves.
