I have recently bought reproduction tubular track for my O gauge layout due to my Fastrack not working properly with the magnetraction. However, I don't know if magnetraction works on the repro track or not. Can someone please tell me? Thank you in advance.

If it's tin plated steel you should be fine. Put a kitchen magnet up to the track and check it. Or place your magnatraction engine on a single piece of straight track and lift up the engine. The tubular track should lift up with the engine. Can't imagine the cost and durability problems of making tubular track out of solid tin, brass or copper.
Tubular track should work great with magna-traction engines. The curve size might be different in tubular track.
I tried Fastrack once and will never use it again! Got dirty too quick on me and bad electrical connections too!

Agreed Lee! The electrical connection was fine but it wore out with my postwar locomotives after a while. I might set up a simple loop for an Atlas 4-4-2 I have.
