Question for Lionel - POLAR EXPRESS™ LionChief Plus 2.0 Berkshire - Sounds From Movie?

While I can't answer your question you may wish to consider the new Bluetooth Lionchief Version.    The engine pulls all 9 cars without issue and has 6 sound clips from the movie - 3 at a stop and 3 in motion and is considerably cheaper than the LC2.0 version.   There are several You Tube videos if you wish to check it out - I haven't set mine up to run yet this year.

Greg, thanks for the thoughts.  It looks like the main difference is that the LC2.0 can use TMCC which we would like to do.  Also would like to pull 15 or more cars if possible.  But, gotta have those sounds - From the videos I have seen they do sound great.

Yes, the LC+2.0 version has lots of dialog from the movie as well as regular CrewTalk. The sound set is similar to the Legacy Polar Express Berkshire we did last year.

Bigger question, which hopefully Dave can answer....will we see these BEFORE THIS Christmas? 

In the Ryan & Dave Halloween show, I believe Ryan said the Berk LC 2.0 will be out 1st or 2nd Quarter 2020.

Maybe they're describing the identical Pere Marquette set instead of the PE version. The only differences as far as I can tell are that the Pere Marquette has generic sounds and the PE has movie sounds and the front half of the Pere Marquette body is gray instead of black. Watch YouTube reviews of both to see the differences.
