I'm wondering if current Lionel Railroader Club members received a 2014 membership button this year?
I renewed my membership Feb. 1st.. I've been getting the Lionel catalogs, but I never got the Spring 2014 issue of the Inside Track newsletter or the annual membership button. When I called Lionel I was told they would send it to me "if we can find any".

I don't think I got one for 2014, Cooper. Someone else asked about the 2014 LRRC button here on the forum a week or two ago. Maybe do a search and see what, if any, answers he got. I never saw much value in the buttons, actually. It may been of interest to younger Lionel fans, but I think the "club" membership average was well up in years & didn't really care.
Thanks for the reply Ron. I did do a search, but the results were inconclusive. I'm pretty sure there was no button sent to members this year. I think the club's been "circling the drain" for some time now. I wasn't too surprised they decided to discontinue it.
With me it's been kind of a nostalgia thing. I started my membership when my kids were youngsters. I saved all the buttons and newsletters from the beginning since they were part of our hobby together. Alas, time marches on.
