I am upgrading a Lionel Commodore Vanderbilt Hudson. Still deciding on whether to use PS2/3 or TMCC/Legacy. Does anyone have a Hudson with passenger sounds that mention the Commodore Vanderbilt? I know MTH used a CV Drumhead on one of their NYC Observation cars.

Alternatively, is there a way to listen to sound clips on the MTH site?

Marty, I know they are showing a Railking PS3 version in the latest catalog but assume the sound file won't be available for download until the engine is released. Even then I assume I won't be able to use that sound file even with a PS3 upgrade kit if I understand how PS3 upgrades work. They only use PS2 sound files, no?

I appreciate your checking.

Did you ever look at Mark's ADPCM application?  https://ogrforum.com/t...und-files-on-your-pc

I think your problem has been solved.

Just downloaded Mark's app. I can see I will be spending some time playing with this. I just listened to one PS2 file all the way through and was amazed by all the voice clips embedded in there. I obviously rarely play with voice clips, content with just whistle and bell normally. Also noticed significantly more bass in the chuff coming from my computer speakers vs the tender. Will have to work on that.

Thanks again Mark and John for steering me to this.
