I run a combination of vintage and modern motorized units. Just purchased my first LC Plus unit, a CP Rail.  I did not realize it came with its own remote, so at the same time, I purchased the Universal Remote (both on-line purchases so could not see the actual products).  Now I have two remotes. Question: should I keep the universal remote? I know it can operate up to 3 different LC+ units, but at most, I may purchase only 1 more LC+ unit. Even if I did, I could only operate one of them at a time as they run on a single track mainline (sit on individual spurs).  Hope to have the grandkids operate these types of units.

Thanks,

Michael

Thanks for the quick replies and advice.  I'll keep the universal remote.  I got it at a good price, so not really concerned about the cost, just did not know if necessary.  And thanks for reminder that I can run more than one motorized command control unit on same track at same time. I was thinking of grandkids, and their operation of some expensive units.  Not there yet, but coming.

Thanks again,

Michael
