Question re Operating Pantographs on MTH Electric Loco with PS2

I'm considering the purchase of an MTH New Haven Railroad EP-3 electric locomotive (20-5630-1) with PS2. The model is described as having "operating pantographs." I would like to know if the model can be operated with both pantographs in the lowered position when running conventionally or whether one of the pantographs will automatically extend. I need to be able to run with both pantographs in the lowered position due to low clearance on a bridge. Conventional operation only...

Yes, the pantographs can be snapped and locked into lower position and run in conventional or command.
