Question to those who have the 3rd rail D&RGW L-131 2-8-8-2.

My new engine has a slot in the bottom of the boiler and there is a swiveling steam pipe on the front drivers between the cylinders.

My HO L-131 has a steam pipe from the boiler to the front swiveling pipe on the front drivers.

Does yours have the attached pipe on the boiler or did they just leave it off?

FYI,

Scott Mann emailed me and said no steam pipes for the front engine assembly.
