I have this Lionel set, The Cadcade Range Logging Train. The kids like to dump the logs, but I want to also have a fun way to load them. I learned of the TMCC controlled Log Loader and have some questions for those that have it before I go hunt one down.
1) Will it work with the log cars I have from this set? I ask because I've only seen photos of it with log cars that have stakes. My fear is that without stakes, the logs will just roll off of the side of my cars when I try to load them.
2) Dimensions are listed on the Lionel site, but it doesn't say which dimension is which. I could make an assumption, but we all know what that means. So I need to know the footprint of it so that I can make a space for it in my SCARM plans. What is the dimension that goes along the track, and which is the dimension that is between the tracks?
3) I plan on using Atlas track on cork roadbed. Will I need to shim the track up, or the log loader up to use them together? Is there an ideal setup of the load loader?
Thanks.
