Questions about MTH Z4000 transformer | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I am considering purchasing a Z400,My question is in purchasing this is there a way to use some kind of remote with it.I really want to upgrade and be able to walk along with the trains.

The Z4000 was designed to do that. But you need a "Z-400 Remote Control System." I do not know the MTH item number or if in fact they still make it. There are two pieces in the set. A Z-400 Receive that plugs into the Z4000 and a Z-4000 Remote Control Handheld Transmitter. The Remote Handheld can handle up to three Z4000's each with a separate Receiver plugged into it.
