Our small display in the Living Room was originally set up for the dogs to pluck treats off the flat cars. Since we switched the traditional freight to a LionChief rtr set one of our dogs no longer has the motivation to receive treats off the train.

I’m wondering if the radio frequencies could be keeping him away?

If 2.4GHz bothered dogs, they would be going crazy with all of the wi-fi around.

I'll second this.  There is so much going on at 2.4GHz that dogs would all be insane if they noticed it.  WiFi, bluetooth, wireless keyboards/mice, cellphones( at 1.9GHz) and lets not forget the reason 2.4GHz is free to use in the first place, Ye old heater of frozen foods, the Microwave oven.  I'm pretty sure the dogs are safe.
