MTH has two products that I think will be great sellers in Long Island Rail Road livery. But please, no more Dashing Dan, no more Dashing Commuter and no more Sunrise Special. I am suggesting Long Island livery of the late steam era, 1945 to 1955. Here are my suggestions:

Make the existing 2-8-0 Consolidation in Long Island livery. Please! No more fantasy livery such as the Sunrise Special logo on a freight engine.

Make the existing Rail King / Rugged Rails 027 (13" long) heavyweight cars in Long Island Livery. Replace the Pennsy logo with the Long Island logo, and change the car numbers. These existing cars mimic the Long Island's P54 commuter cars.

My preference for the 027 passenger cars would be the light gray livery shown above.
