While I was boxing up some of my trains, I saw that I could fit one more run of about 40 foot of shelving along the bottom. I could get about 5 more standard gauge sets on there, and not just box up some of my collection.

So I did a search for "RailRax" aluminum shelving, and didn't find them. That's what all around my train room.

Does anyone know if their still in business?

Or does this Snyder Shelving look the same? I have heard that it's a little duller. But I thought that it looked different too. The website looks just like RailRax shelving. That is, I've seen some manufacturer of aluminum shelving that looks a little more basic or plain looking.

RailRax and Glenn Snyder shelving are identical except for the finish - the RailRax is shiny, the Glenn Snyder is matte. I bought the RailRax because the shiny finish reflects more light onto the trains on the shelf. You can occasionally find RailRax on the auction sites, or if you want to make the Glenn Snyder product look more like RailRax you could polish it up with a buffing wheel. That would be a lot of work to do on 40 feet of shelving, though.
