hi guys good morning. could someone please help me. i'm new to o gauge railroading (about a year) my question is why does the horn on my lionel r.s. box car constantly blow?

Have you tried the RS boxcar with a different transformer than the one you have with the horn sounding constantly? Your car may be picking up a DC signal that MAY be signaling the horn to blow. Then again, it may not be why yours blows constantly-just a guess on my part.
Try reversing the wires going to the track.

thanks for responding. it does it on all 3 tracks, NIB Frisco box car with rs, only paid 47.00 on ebay. i can live with it as long as does'nt ruin the sound board
i'm using 2 atlas o 80watt and an mrc throttle pack 100 transformer i'll try switching up the track and wires. thanks
