There has been a couple video's of it posted. Sounds good and looks good. Good purchase.

You're gonna really like that RailKing version.  I saw in action this past weekend on Dave Minarik's Mercer Station store layout.  Very nice!  I already have the earlier Premier version, but if I didn't have it I would certainly be going after the RailKing model--the two are pretty much identical in terms of detailing and the sounds are great.  Gotta love those charging lights!

YES - Great looking engine

I am a big fan of RailKing • Value for the $

Does it have the decorative lights along the walkway of engine?

Can you take a picture of the engine, with lights on.

Thanks

Thanks!  I'm a RailKing fan too.  This is my first Imperial RailKing.

Yes, it has the charging lights.  In the next few days, when I get time, I'll post a pic with the lights on.  I haven't run this one yet.

Checking the stats, at least the ones I looked at, it says the following:

    Premier - 19 x 2 7/16 x 3 1/2

    RK        - 17 x 2 1/2 x 3 3/4

Not sure if these are accurate (and they indicate the RK version is slightly wider and taller than the Premier!). At 17" long, the RK is still a good sized engine. In Keith's comparison photos, however, the RK appears significantly smaller than the Premier - seemingly more than the numbers would indicate.

Incidently, the Premier retailed for $530; street was about $480.

I love mine (Proto-3/scale wheels). A friend of mine is trying to track down the a set after I ran mine for him at a train show back in June. No luck finding another scale-wheeled set so far.

Liked it so much I got GE demonstrator #2005 (Proto-2/scale wheels). #2005 was re-painted and had a hybrid drive installed to become #2010. Explains why I experienced a small ripple in the space-time continuum when I coupled the two together. [OK, cheap science fiction reference].
