I have not been able to come up with a MTH Railking GP7 in the Texas & Pacific Swampholly yellow and black scheme from years ago. I did get a dummy.
I just put the new, 2012, MTH Railking GP9 #1132 on the track for the first time. The stripping is a little bolder as is the lettering, and adjusted a bit where it meets the walkway. Looks real good! This is my first PS3 unit, sounds are awesome, I had to turn them down real low, 30% mark. Horn is real nice. Numberboards lights light up. It is amost an exact copy bodywise as the early MTH GP9, GP7. This has the dynamic brake hatch where the GP7 does not. Haven't really run it around track, but all functions are work as intended. I am real pleased.
The only thing lacking would be the T&P Mars light package on the noses, (the Atlas geep has it)
In the images, the #1132 is the new MTH GP9, coupled to the old MTH GP7 #1117 (dummy). In the backgorung are the MTH old GP9 #1137 in the blue/gray scheme. The Atlas GP7 #1125 (dummy)(a very different orange). And a MTH GP20 which I modified to a T&P GP18, #1146.
