Looks very cool. It will even set distance between parallel track automatically. Check it out.

is this for O-gauge or HO-gauge?
I can say it was a well thought out presentation and seems to work very well.
Mac compatible software in the model train hobby?!? God bless you. Hint to MTH, Lionel, etc.
I love it when they say theirs is capable of being run on a Mac...just install bootcamp or Parallels and buy a copy of Windows. I have all that, but what a PITA!

all I can say is I have a Mac and use it as a Mac only.
I have a PC and it stays as a PC only.
mac can get a virus but why add to it with adding windows to it!
as to this new mac software and a railroad track application I say Thank You very much for it a welcomed addition to those only creating a PC version only.
I only saw the HO library in your video presentation so is there an actual library for track and other items for O-Gauge or does one have to adapt the Ho track etc for our needs in o-gauge.
please clarify as well this only in centimeter measurements only?
thanks for any additional information as I am interested in it.
Looks nice, but not sure it's worth it just for one layout, especially since I have already invested in Windows and Fusion so I can use SCARM for free. But it looks nice.

Thanks for the Information and Longhorn, best thing said today on the forum.
I wonder if it will import/update my current RM files?
No Gargraves sectional library?
iTunes says not available in the US.
What is not available? I just downloaded it from the App Store.

Hi Volphin,
It does, but the layers may be out of order. If you're familiar with Photoshop, this program works the same. You slide the layers around in the window to get the correct order.

You don't download it from iTunes. It comes from the app store.

I noticed that too. Would Ross track work? There's a place on RM's web site to make update requests.

Developer pulled it from the Apps website - too many bugs, evidently, in version 5.02. Is now offering licenses again for version 4.

I noticed that this morning. I have it running on one Mac and I like it, so far.
So what do I do if I bought the app?
I just tried to download it from the MAC APP store and they say it is no longer available. .

Do you have a link for the Ver. 4.
Thanks

I believe version 4.1.10 is available by following the download link on the developer's website, and looking at Older Versions.
This is all rather disappointing. The older version 4.1.10 is available on the website under "downloads", but there's a statement there that says you have to have a license to run it, but no info as to how to acquire that license. It seems to me that if the developer pulled the app from the Mac App Store, then he should put something on the home page of his web site stating his intentions. I would have expected an email, since I've purchased already. I guess we'll just have to watch for any changes and see what happens. The developer might have had an overwhelming problem we don't know about. I haven't noticed any bugs in the PRO app so far, so it may be something else entirely. I anticipate things will be OK. I've had the classic app for a couple of years and have made comments that have been answered quickly. I believe the developer is an up-front honest person.

Here is the latest news http://www.railmodeller.com/news-212.html
They are hoping it will be back within 2 weeks
Does this program work on PCs with Windows 8?
Thanks,

No John, it doesn't. It's a Mac only app.
FYI - Mac users, RailModeller Pro has a BETA testing program. Submitted my email a week ago and they sent me a link to a new BETA version today. 6.7MB download.
I installed it on my MacBook, very nice looking samples, but haven't had time to really use it yet. I'm sure the BETA version will "time out" and you'll have to purchase the final version, but might be worth a look.
