I was in a hobby shop that mostly dealt in R/C, and another that is deep in tinplate, today, and both had used train books on prototype roads. The first really cheap, the second much closer to list, although some were beat up.  Books are the most l find in a show lately, and while only one of these today, with a section on Fairlie locomotives, was interesting, in large train shows l am surprised at the great number of RR books there are. I often think, "You don't need that", when thumbing through an interesting book on an obscure road to nowhere.  Anybody aware of a historic, or obscure, line or branch that there is NOT a book on?
