Tomorrow we’ll be honoring those military members who gave the ultimate sacrifice to help maintain our freedom.  Accordingly tomorrow’s episode of “Trains & Locomotives” on the RFD-TV network is a repeat of the “Railroads in Wartime” episode that they have run every Memorial Day for the last several years.  This episode shows with actual footage how the Railroads in the United States responded to the war efforts by contributing their vast resources to move military personnel, equipment and raw materials from inland locations to ports where they would be transported across the seas.

“Trains & Locomotives” is on every Monday from 5:00 to 6:00 eastern time (that’s 1700 to 1800 in military time).  The RFD-TV network is channel 345 on Direct TV.  It’s on Channel 231 on Dish TV.  It may be on some cable networks as well.  Check your local programming or the RFD-TV website.

If you're not going to be able to watch it real time, set your DVR's to record it.

BTW, also on the RFD-TV network every Monday from 3:30 to 4:00 pm is a show called “I Love Toy Trains”.  It features segments from McComas videos produced under that name but also segments from other toy train-related videos produced by McComas over the years.
