Wow. Some of these would be way cool for Superstreets.I am thinking of getting the new starter set via Christmas ( wish list ) and with this and Lee's creative work serving as an inspiration, maybe a custom job like these would be very cool.

 

Shades of model car kit days.. Some of us oldsters might remember this guy..

When I was a lot younger,I had the chance to see Ed Roth at the Tyrants custom car show at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino.This probably happened around '64 or so. I was so into his car kits and Rat Fink. "Big Daddy" Roth was just so cool.His custom show cars are some of the most sought after by collectors today,if they come up for auction at all.

 

He led a very interesting life after the craze, spiritual searching,sign painter for the Hollywood Wax Museum in Buena Park, a move to Utah and more work as a sign painter.

Big Daddy is missed by all true "kids" of that era. I suspect that we shall not see anyone like him again...
