Any news on this? I want to ride behind it again when it runs. It ran in my area in Sept 1991 and I rode the train from Emmaus to Pennsburg. I also rode behind it from South Hamburg in April, 1988 and my uncle from Emmaus was on the train with his youngest son who was almost two at that time. I heard about it running in August 2017 from someone who talked with the steam guys at Port Clinton.

They're working on it.
2018 at the earliest Robert.
Depending on who you talk to, it might be done for fall, or it might not be until next year. I'm not planning my autumn around it just yet.
This year I wanted to ride behind 113 at Minersville or 1309 at WMSR if my mom is willing to travel this year. Glad to hear that the 2102 restoration is real and that it will eventually run again. 113 and 1309 are examples of locomotives that never pulled excursions before, and have been restored for tourist service. I'm glad all these steam locomotives are being restored. I already rode behind 765 twice in PA, and 611 last year in Manassas, VA. I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up for 2102 this year then.
113 is pulling Easter trains out of Minersville on Saturday, April 8th. See our website for more info.
