What are the dimensions of the footprint of the above switch?

Look at the Ross website; I believe they have templates for all their switches.
Chuck
They don't actually have an 8 way switch, they combine their four-way switch with four additional switches, two #100 and two #101. As for the size of the whole assembly, huge comes to mind!
I have a couple of their 4-way switches leading into my freight yard, those alone are 27" long and 10" wide at the exit. The goal of the 8 track combination is eight tracks spaced at 3.5", so do the math and add and additional 2" for the total width of the assembly. Looks like it would be about 30" wide in total.
I forgot to mention the spacers in the diagram. Looks like the total length of the whole shooting match is around 67" long.

John, It looks like your implementation with the two, four switch units in parallel is a more effective use of linear space yielding potentially longer storage tracks, Is that the case?

I thought so, that 8-track configuration is huge, for something 30" wide, I could have had the two 4-way's side by side with one #100/101 switch in front for less space. However, since I went for ten tracks, I had to add a couple switches to make it all work out. Still, I doubt I could fit that 8-way in where my switching for the ten tracks is.
