LGSRY (lgsry.com)announced that 4-6-2 #425 will be powering their trains on June 23-24, apparently this will be the only 425 visit to the LGSRY until October, when #425 will be there for 2 weekends of fall foliage trips.

A beautiful engine on a professionally run railroad. Well worth the trip.
Just a reminder that this is the weekend for R&N 425 in Jim Thorpe, and I would think that sometime tomorrow 425 will go solo from Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe to get ready.
A Mountain Top, PA., to Jim Thorpe excursion on 9/22/18 has also been announced.
For those of you in the Jim Thorpe region this weekend you'll definitely not want to miss out on a ride behind #425. Although its not as good as her fall trips its still spectacular to see this "light" pacific stomp through the Lehigh Gorge. I do not know if the gondola will be behind the engine, but if so, definitely ride it!
Here's a video from Memorial Day 2017:

Where can tickets be purchased for the fall trips?

Are you speaking of the 9/22/18 trip previously mentioned, or fall trips in general?

I’d like to buy tickets for the September and or the October trips.
Here's the basic info for the R&N; you want the 2 weekends in October shaded in blue.
For the 9/22/18 trip, this is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mountain Top, and tickets must be purchased through their outlet; www.eventbrite.com, link to steam-train-excursion.
There are also links through the rotary club facebook , and also through the Friends of the Reading & Northern facebook page.
Tickets are $70 for 80+ mile round trip, and 4 hours in beautiful downtown Jim Thorpe, lol.

No sense just sitting around waiting to run passengers. Lets go to work. A friend shared this picture of the 425 moving cars around in Nesquehoning.

You all missed #425 acting as a helper shoving a freight up Hometown Hill wide open. Who said 4-6-2 light pacifics weren't utilitarian!
PENNSY, Did you get a video of that?

Unfortunately no. I wasn't there, but a few friends of mine were and one of them got video of her. I think the video has only been posted to Facebook unfortunately.
