For those who are curious, this is how the Reading and Northern T1 will be painted. I have attached an image from a flyer I received over the weekend at the Allentown, Spring Thaw. Reading and Northern tabled this event and pointed to this when I asked how the tender was going to look. This is a FAR cry from the blue scheme MTH imagined.

Any news on there breakin run. Should be this month right?
Just coincidence that the tower in the back ground of the flyer looks to be the tower at Strasburg, or a hint of things to come?
Tower in background is actually the 'yard office' at the R&N Outer Station in Reading, PA.

May 28th is the first run date, where is not known at this time. but I will be there when they say where.
May 28th is first PUBLIC passenger train date according to R&N schedule. Freight break-in runs (those without passengers but with freight cars) are probable during March and April.
I think it looks great... but i like the Chessie scheme better...... i know i know. lol.
