Great. Would be happy to see video.
Does anyone know if there are any dealers that still have the Blue version of the Reading and blue mountain still available 20-3789-1?

I know! I actually liked it better than the scheme in the catalog. I feel fortunate I was able to get one after they shipped.
So - I was hoping to buy a T1 in the 1976 scheme - but appears if I didn't pre-order I am out of luck. Is that really the case? (20-3793-1)

I am glad you like it but as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is basically the paint scheme of the 425 but the T1 never wore that paint scheme. I have to admit it’s definitely a striking paint scheme but I am not crazy about it. The whole thing for me was I saw this engine run in the ‘80s with the black R&BM lettering. I wanted a model of that but it does have a happy ending for me as John Pignatelli did get in touch with me and we are going to switch shells later on this year. I will get the locomotive I saw when I was young and he will get the blue paint scheme he wanted.
@2naboat Since you are looking for the Hi Rail version there is always a chance you could get one on the secondary market. I don’t know if any dealers bought extras of these locomotives but the odds are against you. When I wanted to exchange mine for the black version Mr.Muffin told me they were “gone, gone, gone”. Good luck and you never know. You might find one.
I too missed out on this engine. I have the T1 in PS2, but after seeing the blue color I really like it. If anyone out there that doesn’t like the BM&R blue paint scheme and wants to sell theirs please get in contact with me. E mail in my profile. Thanks for your time.
Thanks TOM but not the blue version 20-3789-1. If you find this one please let me know.
Here's my video on the RBMN MTH T-1 from the 2020 Vol 2 catalog. Enjoy.
I did the final inspection on these before they left MTH, these are gorgeous , i like the sound set too. Chessie is my favorite tho.
