WOW is sure what comes to mind seeing this beautiful work. It motivates me to go back and work on the interior of my MTH cars, even if I won't approach this quality. What did you use for the table cloth material? Amazing effect. Thanks for sharing.

I especially like (what looks to be Linoleum). I am not familiar with the 38' Superchief, but the colors seem pretty vibrant.

Thanks for the interest and kind words, everyone. I submitted a proposal for an article to the OGR editor. I’ve been working o this train lately and I think it would make for a nice map to upgrade GGD offerings. We’ll see!

I am too nervous to attempt to take apart my GGD cars -ive heard its not simple--instructions on just doing that and putting them together would be valuable. any review on the new super chief set?
a drink in the observation car and a high stakes poker game from NYC to Chicago on the Century then on to the Super Chief to LA in 1938---if only

Will, those came with the car. I wish Scott would sell some of his interior parts. The alternative is cast resin, very expensive and looks terrible.

I think Allen Miller must be busy with something'.. I sent him some photos for possible post in the Magazine. I haven't heard back from him either. The last time I sent him something, he replied right back to me, in short order'.... Lets see what happens'. Funny thing is, he was viewing the forum, when I sent him the file'...?

Amazing!!! Your work really brings it alive and to the highest level of detail.
Sorry to be late to this thread but these are very fine examples of interior detailing.
One question for @SANTIAGOP23 - looks like you used real fabric for the tablecloths in the dining car, but what material was it and/or how did you get it to drape over the edges so realistically? I have resorted to using self-stick vinyl sheets (which can be printed on) to try to get the folds to stay in place:
Admittedly these are shorter than yours, but cut fabric often frays along the edges.
Also, in the Solarium car I imagine you scratch built the partitions.
