I have noticed that many locos come with unrealistic engineer figures. you get a very realistic engine and then the engineers are very toy like.
Has anyone found a source for really good engineer figures?

MTH offered their's as seperate sale items. Which are pretty detailed. Arttista have a nice variety in different poses. Even standing firemen.
You can even get fantasy figures.
Or the regular guys,
Lionel still uses Weeble-looking cab figures in their engines. I've replaced 4 sets of them with Arttista figures, not an easy job due to die-cast tabs in the seats that have to be ground and cut off.
MTH uses neat looking figures in their engines - they make the engines look much more realistic, overall.
