You know, I really do get in trouble doing these videos. I would have it no other way as I love model railroading. I always have in my 35 years in the hobby.

This weeks video features realistic model railroad scenery and how I make and weeds and grasses.

Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks all - I really have fun doing these videos and although it takes a lot of time, at least I am able to include family and friends.

John C - Ha Ha - do you think I'd be  here typing this if I cut her hair? She'd have  killed me.

BradA - I have plans for doing a video on trees of different types. Now I can't say that this will be an every week thing, but I plan on trying to be at least regular with them. Next up should be "weathering track with acrylics and chalks" and then my favorite which is "Furnace filter vines and bushes"

I have to get together a presentation on model photography for a clinic I am doing and while I am at it I may verse it towards a how-to article intended for the mag.

I have a lot of ideas, but I am always open for suggestions...

Someone just asked me where to get these particular weeds and I actually looked back at an order. It just happened to be with forum sponsor Scenic Express. Ding Ding!

In the video I used the NOCH brand 12 mm grasses and the woodland scenic field grasses.

12mm will represent grasses approximately knee high in 1:48

You can trim them for shorter areas and you can use the field grass at any lengths you cut. All can be found on their website. Adhesive - you can get anywhere.

Joey,

From the responses I'm reading, you have other videos like this one.  If thats the case, I'm going to be VERY busy trying to catch up tonight.  In other words, great video.  That could definitely help people like myself who wouldn't have thought of something like that.  Thanks for sharing that entertaining, informative video.

Well done, Joey and crew !!

A "tip": A product called Big Sexy hair by sexy hair concepts is as excellent stickey

spray material. It can be found @WM.

And...remember to change out that aerosol glue from time to time as it DOES have a

moderate shelf life. 3M is the best, but the cheap stuff found at places like HL or

Michals works well.
