A MUST SEE: Twin City Model Railroad Museum's Holiday display with fantastic lighted rolling stock!

Cool indeed.

That lighting was amazing!  I'm not one for animated trains but that was so cool with all the lighting.  Is that done with a lot of fiberoptics and so on?  Or just tiny LEDs?  

Nobody here from the Twin Cities that's been to this museum to see this display?

Btw, if a moderator reads this, cwould you please replace the links so the videos are showing since more folks will likely view thems as some folks are leary and fearful of clicking on links?

You have to embed the video yourself. Moderators don’t routinely go through the hundreds of posts per day looking to embed videos, though I know a moderator did it once recently for some reason.

Just copy the URL, select the video icon from the toolbar at the top of your reply box and paste the URL into the source box.

Is it O or HO?

I live near the Cities and have been to the "Night Trains" running during the T-Giving through Christmas season. They have a number of other smaller layouts that are tinplate, American Flyer, and O gauge. But the main attraction is a 2-rail O Scale layout that replicates the Twin Cities in the 30's-50's. It's been around (though moved) since the 1930's, so has quite the history.

Those amazing Christmas cars are O gauge and while I'm guessing the inspiration for them was Canadian Pacific's holiday train, I'm wondering whether they gave Mike Wolf along with the CP the inspiration for MTH's led lighted holiday boxcars.
