About two weeks ago I contacted Scott Mann to see if he would convert the 2 rail Hudson in the bone yard to 3 rail. He said he had a new 3 rail in the warehouse and would put all new electronics in it. He also painted the drivers for me.

It is beautiful, smooth and the new railsounds is awesome.

Thanks, Scott

Yes, it certainly is VERY nice. However, it sure doesn't sound like the New York Central "Super Hudson" that I have from Sunset/3rd Rail! Yours sounds more like a UP FEF-3 4-8-4. Wonder how they got THAT sound chip.

You're right it does, but I really like it.

The 844 storms through Texas every now and then, what a beast!

Scott did a good job, now you should paint the plated linkages to match as well. Those annoyed me even more than the plated driver tires.

I am currently having the incorrect tender lettering redone on mine as well. Should have pictures soon, there were a few unexpected delays with the painter but he expects completion and shipping by next week.

Nick, I was going to do it before I filmed it, but the rear electro coupler was set too low and I had to remount it and change the attachment method.

Scott did a great job for me and he also found me a scale engine truck which will be installed tomorrow before I paint the linkages.

Like you, I will also add additional detail to this Hudson, but first I've got to finish the detailing of the K line and the Masterpiece Hudsons.
