I am about to install my surround sound system and new blue ray player over the weekend and am looking for a great train movie to show off the system. I am hoping something with the 765 or the 1225 but any american steam will do. What do you recommend?

My choice has been the "Legends of Steam" volumes from Marcam Productions.
All shot in HD and available in Blue-Ray.
slightly self-promoting, but I like this one a lot.

18 steam locomotives, with full coverage of TrainFestival 2009 (4449, 765, etc), East Broad Top in the snow, and 765 at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum.
Filmed and edited in HD. Available in BluRay and Widescreen DVD.
The Marcam stuff is very good also, both the Legends of Steam release, and the 4449: Michigan Odyssey set.

Ditto what Hotwater posted. Anything by MarCam is well worth the money.
Their recent 5 volume set of the 4449's trip to Trainfestival in Owosso and return is nothing short of spectacular!

I must also agree with HW and cabrat they are both excellent choices...I am a big 765 fan also but you just can't beat 2 Northerns running along Puget Sound....not to mention a shot of Steve Lee wearing a viking helmet is priceless. The 5 disc set covering the 49's journey from Portland to Owosso and back is spectacular as well, and there is about a 30-40 minute segment in there covering the 765 at Owosso also.
Thanks guys, I took Hot Water's advice and ordered Legends of Steam.

The full tape (the youtube link was simply a short preview) is available online at ATrains, and also the official Blue Ridge Video store on Ebay by simply searching for the title in both dvd and bluray versions.
