I want to purchase a camera to mount on my o gauge trains. it needs to be portable so I can mount on different trains. I do not need anything fancy.

I use the Mobius, small and easily mounted. It also clear most tunnels and does 1080P videos at 30FPS.

Looks like a good camera. Couple of questions.
-It is recharged with a USB cable. Is there a circuit for it to be powered off track power?
-I didn't see anything about live video to a monitor. Does it have that capability? Or just recording?

It's recharged by USB, you can use a simple 5VDC track power supply to power it. The Mobius Maxi has WiFi.
Thank you. I didn't see anything about WiFi in the Amazon description. I'm going to give it a try.
I was surprised they didn't mention it as well. The WiFi was enabled with a firmware update sometime last year. I guess it was in the hardware but not enabled at first.
Do you need to buy a SD card to use the wi fi?
if so what do you recommend?
I use an SD card, but one day when I have the layout up, I'll tinker with the WiFi.
Will the Wi-Fi work with apple products?
If so does it require a separate app?
