I have a nice Santa Fe ABA  from the 90's.  I've tried to pick up some aluminum cars off

the bay, but the final bid is always way too high for my blood.  What other passenger cars

would look good behind these engines?  I'd like to stick with 15" or less.  I've seen some plastic

sets, I think from Williams - that might work.  I don't want to go with the 027 size cars that

are common.  Anything that you folks have that would look good?

Don't just look in the 'bay'.  Most of the dealer sponsors here typically have the MTH Railking Santa Fe cars at a very reasonable price.  These look good, roll well, are lighted, and hit a price point of around $200 for 4.  Add two more for $100.   Again, these are "street prices" but pretty good for new passenger cars.

Williams made a nice 6 car passenger set for the Santa Fe "El Capitan" in the Crown Edition era(about 10 years, maybe more, before Bachmann), the cars look like they are silver in color, might be aluminum? The cars are lighted with small incandescent light bulbs from Williams. Make sure the couplers will open before buying any Williams passenger cars from the Crown Edition era, as I have bought sets both ways(opening and fixed couplers).

I have these passenger cars and like them.

Check RMT's site (RMT Direct).  Walter is featuring some new streamline passenger cars.  I think they are in the size range that you are looking for.  At $89 for two, they are not super expensive.  I think there are four individual cars available, and Santa Fe is one of the road names Walter is featuring.  Nice looking cars.  Bob S.
