I have several books on the Milwaukee Road Electrics with some neat color and B&W photography. I also have a couple of paintings depicting them in action. Does anyone have any suggestions on on-line sources that may have other photographs? I've tried the usual Google search engine and came up with photos that I either already have or have seen.

FWIW: I am getting close to install catenary on my layout, partly motivated by Marty Fitzhenry's layout and the Milwaukee Road BiPolar models, both from MTH and Lionel. No other electric engine gets the juices going (no pun) like these models.

Thanks.

Paul

I could list several books but I suspect you have them already....  One of my favorites for color photos, particularly of bipolars, is “Under Milwaukee Wires” by Bill Marvel. This book compiles the photos of Sanford Goodrich and William Janssen, many of which appear in other books.

You might try the website of Cascade Rail Foundation. There you can find links to their photo collections and documents at the Pacific Northwest Rail Archive.
