I'm going to be upgrading a PS1 N&W Y6B to PS3 and would like to paint the cab windows and other details red to match my PS2 Y6B in the photo (doesn't have to be a perfect match, just "close enough"). Will be brush painting.
Looking for recommendations for paint color and brand.

I can’t comment on an exact color red. I re letter a lot to model my favorite road. Everything had white trim on the running boards edge. I found the Tamiya white acrylic to cover quite well over black. In fact it kind of surprised me how well. I just used a Micro brush right out of the bottle. They make a number of red shades and can be mixed to get a close match. Most hobby shops carry it and for model paint. Is reasonably priced.
