Can anyone recommend a reference book(s) that includes a picture/description of all types of diesel locomotives ever produced in the US for identification purposes? I am aware of several such resources for steam engines.
There's the Kalmbach "Diesel Spotters Guide" if you can find them, although they don't imnclude the latests and greatest. (Last one was put out 10-15? years ago. I don't have mine handy...)
