On this video of 844 I see much of the time steam coming up from a pipe in the center of the smoke stack exhausts. Also, another pipe in front of the front stack with steam coming out of. Where does this steam come from? Also down by the track by the steam chest on the firemans side there is also some steam coming out of a pipe. where does that come from? thanks for any answers.

Well first, all the steam comes from the boiler!
The steam in front of the stack area is either from the air pump exhaust, and the other is from the Worthington Feedwater Heater system (the vent). I can't remember which is which, forward or rearward.
The constant flow of steam from the small pipe down by the Fireman's side cylinder, is also from the Worthington Feedwater Heater system. That small pipe lets the Fireman know that the feed water pump is actually on and pumping pre-heated water into the boiler. When the feed water system is not "on" there is no steam emitted from that pipe.
Boiler blowdown.
