To fuel the train, the manual for the sensor track says to stop the locomotive, and then press the logical keypad zero button until the refueling sequence plays. My problem, the horn sounds repeatedly when the reset/zero key is pressed and I hear no refuel sequence. No extra fuel in the train.

It also says the train will speak the fuel if you move the train and press Aux1 and the the engineer key. What is the engineer key? If I use the crew talk key I get the normal crew talk response (no fuel indication).

Help please?

Thanks,

Tom

I have found that the locomotive (VL BB and a B6sb.  I don't recall if I've tried on my heavy Mikado.  I do not have any Legacy diesels, yet.) doesn't always give you the fuel level when doing the crew talk.  I have found that it's more likely to give you the fuel (and water) levels if the locomotive has been under way for a while without speed changes and you've pressed the crew talk button a couple times already.  I generally run using sequence control and get the locomotive running, and after it's been at speed for 5 min or so, press the crew talk button, then AUX1 and crew talk and if that doesn't give it to you, press AUX1 and crew talk again.

The 6-28306 GE Hybrid as well as 6-11135 VISION 2-10-10-2 SANTA FE 3000 speaks speed-related info, but neither will talk about fuel levels. These are among the earliest of locomotives with the I/R transmitter, subsequent product have the full implementation of these features.

Hi Rudy,

Decided not to sell my 6-11449 big boy and 6-11465 cab forward to play with the new features. The big boy is incredible!
