I did the online Registration a couple weeks ago. Just waiting for my badge and October to arrive! Hotel reservation at the York Wyndham Garden was made a few months ago. Getting excited for York number #2.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. No worries here tho - I have been registering for the next meet at the meet itself, so I just have to wait for my badge.

At age 74, I'm not hoping that "time will fly".

I do get what you mean... plus I still like this warm weather and long days.
Just registered today. 
I'm truly looking forward to October York. It's just something about that time of year that I really enjoy. 
Don't get me wrong, I liked York in April but I like October York a little bit better.

Don't forget, the "fee" for the mail-in registration is almost a dollar in stamps.

Registered yesterday, 9/5. It's been a while since I attended. Hopefully Sunset Third Rail will have the SD 7/9's available for the show. $15.50, There is a senior member price also.

For the route we usually take, the drive in October is often quite nice. Lots of fall foliage.
As for which show is better....... folks have been discussing that for years. I like them both.
I'm hoping to make it for 1st time in October as guests, along with wife and friend, waiting to hear if Upstate TCA Bus is going to have enough people going, should know yes or no in a week or two. Does anyone know price for scooter rentals there, and if it is by day or hour? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe specific rental pricing is on the EdTCA website however the contact info for the scooter vendor is. A quick call to them would provide you with answers to your questions:

When we used to order one for my wife, the pricing was about $45 for the day on Thursday and Saturday, and $50 for the day on Friday. For all three days the total was $140. You can order either a scooter or a powered wheelchair. When you call to order they will ask you for the user's height and weight so they can provide the right size vehicle, as they have different sizes. Then you can send them a check at the address they provide.
With the check I would send a letter outlining the information and confirming the price and the type of scooter or chair and the days requested, like this:

They never confirmed the payment I sent but we never had a problem working with them, they are wonderful people. At the Meet they are located next to the former Brown Hall. Just give them your name and they'll set you up. Now after my wife's knee replacements, she doesn't need the scooter and walks faster than me now!
P.S. - I believe the contact number is their private phone number, so whoever answers will just say 'hello'. Don't be put off by this, just confirm that they are D&R Mobility and then make your request. They are very nice and helpful.
