Does someone have the MTH part number for the tether socket on the remote, where the phone handset cord inserts?

Are you talking about the part that is internal and mounted on the PCB inside the remote?
When I broke a USB port on one of my TIU's, I stole the USB port out of an old external disk drive, it was a perfect fit. Maybe you have the part in your junkbox of old phones. 
The socket the 4-wire phone cord plugs into on the Remote.
Not sure of the part number without taking apart one of my remotes, I'm not all that keen on doing that. Like I said, I'd probably go into my phone equipment junkbox and see if I could find a match, it's the handset cord jack that you're looking for.
If you will take a used one (works) hit my email with your address. I have many broken remotes and will send you the part.

Well, it's intended to be wireless, so you don't need that. 
Of course, when you want to upgrade it, you'll need it again.
It was put in the USPS early today.
