What’s the trick to open up an RMT caboose to change the light bulb?
i don’t see any screws at all but don’t want to break anything trying to pull off the bottom frame.

I have a couple but I haven't tried to crack one open. I would shoot an email to Walter at RMT. If anyone knows it should be the owner of the company. RMT - READY MADE TRAINS (readymadetoys.com)
With a small blade flat screwdriver insert under e door push down on top edge CAREFULLY and then push tab into carbody. Repeat on opposite end. When removing do not pull top off because marker lights are attached to circuit board. Think this should do it but has been at least 10 years since I popped the caboose top. Be careful not to scratch any paint around door.
